We’re happy to announce some changes and improvements to the guidelines for creating your levels. This new Sketch Guide will be used for the 1.0 version of the Pixel Press Floors App, which is on track to be released this spring.
Last week we had a blast demonstrating our latest beta version of Floors with our supporters in St. Louis! As you may have read in our previous post, we held event in the tech space in the newly renovated St. Louis Public Library.
Even in its current state, we’re able to demo the beta and let children start drawing their own levels. Watching that “wow” moment happen when the kids realize that they can draw a video game on a piece of paper is priceless.

We’ve been working with a lot of teachers lately, and one of them, Sharon Eilts of Columbia Middle School in Sunnyvale, CA reached out to us about how to leverage a platform like Pixel Press for Autistic students. Here a few thoughts Sharon shared with us.
